General Books must be return within 7 days

Student / members must come to the library personally and Issue/Return the books

Enter your name and Sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering library

A member can borrow only 2 books against the borrower card.

Reference Books (R) are not issuable

Books once picked out from the stack should be left in the reading table if not issued out.

Underlining, marking, folding of pages in the book is strictly prohibited.

Periodicals are not for issue (Journal, Magazine, Newspaper etc.)

A late fee of Rs. 15.00 per book per day will be charged for not returned within due date.

Borrower should satisfy themselves that the book taken out is in sound condition. They will be held strictly responsible for loss or damage accruing to book while in their possession.

Habitual disregard of library rules will render the borrower liable to forfeit his/her membership.

The membership cards are non-transferable. The member will be responsible for use/misuse of his/her card.

The member must notify any change of address and contact information.

Foods and drinks are not permitted inside the Library.

No personal belongings except notebooks allowed inside the library

Library is not responsible for loss of any belongings from the property counter or inside Library.

Silence is must inside the library. Using Mobile phones and audio instruments is strictly prohibited in the library premises.

If a member fails to pay the overdue fines, the borrower’s card will not be returned from Library.

In case the member misplaces a borrower’s card or a borrowed book he/she must notify the Librarian in writing within a day of the loss. He/she will either replace the same title (same or latest edition) or pay the cost of the book with overdue fines.
